Membership

Members of the AAICU will be private, non-profit, federal tax exempt, incorporated, colleges offering degrees in a variety of academic programs, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools with their primary campuses in the State of Alabama.

Any eligible institution may apply for membership by addressing a written request with appropriate supporting materials to the President of the Association for membership consideration based on a formal review of the institution’s eligibility and compatibility with the Association’s mission and purpose.

Each institution is represented on the Board of Directors by its president.
