AAICU and Spring Hill College

The first Catholic college in the Southeast, the third oldest Jesuit college in the country and the fifth oldest Catholic college in America, Spring Hill is a four-year, coeducational, liberal arts and sciences institution in a residential setting. Located near the Gulf Coast, Spring Hill is in Mobile, Alabama, a seaport metropolitan area of almost 500,000 people. The campus rests on a 450 -acre site, is naturally landscaped and features huge oaks, azalea-lined walkways and an 18-hole golf course. There are 23 buildings, several of which are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Spring Hill’s mission guides its people to work together, in community, to nurture learning for body, mind and spirit. Professors at Spring Hill take the time and make the effort to teach and act with justice, with caring and in service for others. The college’s selective enrollment, strong curriculum, distinguished faculty and small classes contribute to its growing national reputation. U.S. News and World Report consistently ranks this four-year Jesuit, liberal arts institution among the nation’s top regional universities and as one of the Southern region’s best values in education.
