302 Bibb Street Marion, Alabama 36756 phone (334) 683-5110 fax(334) 683-5158 http://www.judson.edu/ As the nation's fifth oldest women's college, Judson was founded in 1838 and was named for Ann Hasseltine Judson, America's first female foreign missionary who gave her life in Burma. Judson offers a broad and challenging liberal arts curriculum that leads to a bachelor's degree. In addition to liberal arts majors, others offered include pre-professional programs such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, law and engineering. They are one of only a few colleges in the Southeast where a student can choose to minor in equine science. The college is home of the Alabama Women’s Hall of Fame which honors women from throughout Alabama's history who've made our world a better place. Judson is also committed to service-learning. Judson students can be found in local schools and retirement facilities and in far-away places like Mexico and Niger teaching and serving in Christ's name. 2010 Snapshot
